Cranberry Champagne Cocktail
This cocktail is perfectly balanced with a tart cranberry flavor. Showcase this cocktail by serving it in elegant glassware and your guests will be coming back for more. Plus, the recipe is simple with only three ingredients!
Ingredients – Serves 8
- 2 well-chilled 750-ml bottles of champagne
- 1 cup well-chilled cranberry juice cocktails
- 3 tablespoons Grand Marnier (or another orange-flavored liqueur of your choice)
- Using a large pitcher, add all ingredients together and stir. It doesn’t get any easier than that!
Blackberry Thyme Champagne Cocktail
This antioxidant rich cocktail is perfect for guys and gals since it is not only has a fruity flavor but also tastes a bit woodsy. The blackberries and thyme add a fresh touch to this delicious cocktail.
Ingredients – Serves 4-6
- 1 bottle chilled champagne
- 1 cup fresh blackberries
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup water
- 1 bunch fresh thyme
- ½ lemon, juiced
Start by making a simple syrup – Using a small saucepan, bring the sugar, water, and thyme to a boil. Remove the syrup from the heat, allowing it to steep for 20 minutes, then remove and discard the thyme sprigs. Add the fresh lemon juice while stirring, allow the mixture to cool completely.
Using six mason jar sippers, divide the mixture and blackberries among the jars and stir, gently breaking up the berries enough to mix with the syrup.
Add ice, top off the glass jars with champagne, garnish with fresh thyme.
Sparkling Sangria
Nothing says summer cocktail like a refreshing sangria – it’s always a crowd pleaser. There really is no wrong way to make a sangria, but these fresh fruits add a delicious pop of flavor.
Ingredients – Serves 4 to 6
- 1 cup strawberries, quartered
- 1 cup blueberries
- 2 small ripe peaches, pitted
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- 4 ounces orange liqueur (Grand Marnier)
- 1 bottle of champagne, chilled
Prepare all fruit by washing, and gently draining excess water. Slice the strawberries into quarters, and dice the peaches (you can peel the peaches if you prefer). Using a medium sized pitcher, add the fruit, sugar, and orange liqueur, gently mix. Allow mixture to refrigerate for at least 45 minutes, overnight for more fruit infusion.
Add champagne when you are ready to serve, pour over ice. Cheers!
